This bullet is designed for best possible accuracy in the Marlin 336 Cowboy in .38-55 caliber, as well as the H&R and Uberti single shots in this caliber, all of which have .379″ grooves. It gives superior expansion and penetration when loaded to 1600-1900 fps – to date over a dozen deer have been killed with this bullet, and no bullets have been recovered, with complete penetration and double-caliber+ exit wounds!

This swaged 30:1 lead/tin alloy bullet is of truncated cone
nose shape for reliable feeding in .38-40 lever action rifles and revolvers.
It has 2 crimping/lube grooves and is dipped in a “liquid jacket” lube that
dries hard. It can be lubed with a black powder lube on request. A gas
check can also be incorporated for those wishing to use this bullet at
higher velocities, or in 10mm auto pistols. Weight can be from 170 to 190
grains.

This jacketed bullet is the same bullet as the .378 diameter bullet above, but
made in the appropriate diameter for those shooting the .375 Winchester cartridge,
or .38-55 Winchesters with the smaller groove diameter.

Its weight of 190 grains assures deep penetration, while its large exposed lead flat nose assures controlled expansion and maximum energy transfer in thin-skinned game.
